    Loving Bond.

    It's Cancer you said,
I wept a million questions in my head,
Will you be o.k. ?. What can they do,
I'ts fine they can operate, darling i love you.

Sleepless nights thinking of what might go wrong,
I can't live without your love, beauty and song,
Sons without mummy, and i without my honey,
Just dark clouds ahead for the rest of my life no days to be sunny.

You have the operation i'm told it went well,
I visit you in hospital it makes me weep you look like hell,
You look up kindly to me and say it's alright {My beautiful wife},
We're going to be together for the rest of our life.

Now nearly a year has quickly gone by,
Each appointment confirms your not going to die,
It certainly made me realise how much i love you,
With our love for each other we will always pull through.

    {Helen i love you}.

    Scatter me.

At Scafell pikes cairn you can scatter me,
A part of the fells for eternity,
I will always be there looking down on the lakes,
From high above i will protect you fell people for all your sakes.

The verdant hillsides down near the farms,
I could wish for no better view of the hill and the tarns,
Amongst the eternal poets wordsworth is my friend,
Our spiritual journey through the lakeland will never end.

So many generations have come and gone,
Still here in the hills where i belong,
After all of this time i still have a smile on my face,
Happy that the Fellrunners still look after this place.

Not for many years yet TM I hope.

I want my ashes to be put into a bloody big firework and sent off with a bang! Just not for about another 50-75 years at least.

    Dear Fell poets,

What do you think about setting up a fell poets society Club/team with our own colours and vest ?. Now i am already a member of a club and i could send an e mail to the F.R.A. to clarify where the rules stand on 2nd clubs. I am not bothered if there are as little as 5 want to do this or as much as 50 as club size is not the point. Also athletic success is not what the club would be about it would simply be going out on the fells and taking inspiration from all around you. It really wouldn't matter if you finished first or last as long as you enjoyed the experience. Well what do you think ?.

I like the idea, but us lot, do things officially?! Naahhh. If we want to, we should just get some vests done and run in them if and when we want.

Any ideas on colours? What is a poetic colour?

    Come to the edge.
    We might fall.
    Come to the edge.
    It's too high!
    COME TO THE EDGE!
    And they came,
    and we pushed,
    And they flew.

    Daffodill yellow is too obvious.

    Shades of grey?
