    I'll do a photo copie. Doing my second recce of leg 4 on Saturday so should know the route quite well for the race.

    i am planning on looking at leg3 tomorrow morning. just a gentle run as i have Bolton on Sunday. anyone is welcome to get lost with me

    I've already got lost on leg 3! There's some pretty boggy bits, especially on the second half

    That first climb feels like 5 miles on its own!

    Sorry to labour this point. Leg 5 requires two maps. I have both but my partner doesn't. I don't have access to a colour photocopier. If I do black and white photocopies for him and highlight the route, is that likely to be ok?

    Yep, used a B/W 2 years ago and they were happy with that.

    Did leg 3 yesterday afternoon in both directions, its a dam sight easier doing it in reverse just incase anyone is planning on running the race in the wrong direction....
