Nice going mate! Good tally for the week!

    How were the new shoes??

I'm convinced the UK market for shoes are too confusing now, so nearly 99% sure I'm going to buy another set of continentals!

Thanks hursty! I reckon you could run well over 40miles in the time I've been out this week

Walshes were good. Grip is amazing and I ran down much better than up Might wear them tomorrow for leg 4 of Calderdale Relay

Hmm maybe not at the mo, not running as fast as I did due to loss of confidence after the fall, and my SX2's grip is really bad now. I think I've done around 60 miles this week though, steadily building it back up

Sounds like a cracking shoe anyways, I'm anticipating the opposite, looking forward to the hills where I won't slip and descending like a right wuss!

Smock and a new pair of runners for Xmas should do the trick though!

    Good luck for Calderdale!

Lovely run out today - 13 miles, 5600feet (according to sport tracks, think it may have added a few hundred more than I did). Only meant to go out for an hour or so, but it was so crisp and pleasant out that I ended up racing the light back into sheffield from crosspool.

    Cool down, surely Tup?

Had a slow 9.8mi over Pendle. Slow for two reasons: 1) faffing about at the start trying to find a route Clem use at night; and 2) came a cropper on the far side (in relation to me car). Shoe clipped a stone and I fell forward, landing on another big stone; my right knee taking the brunt of it . After lying in the foetal position for a bit, sobbing to myself and the cruelty of the world (and after getting a second hole in the knee of my Ron Hills I finished off with a few sprints (hobbles) up the reservoir banking.

Beautiful watching the world wake up, and some lovely views from the top when the mist opened up a window for me.

6 ish miles up over High Hill to Attemire Scar, a quick whiz up to Victoria Cave, back over Warrendale Knotts, down to Settle and home. A bit on the slow side with my gammy knee but otherwise lovely.
