Spending 3hrs getting from Skipton to Settle might be your idea of fun on a day off but its not mine

There was a prang just before Hellifield I think which led me to turn off at coniston cold to go via Otterburn. That was a 'fun' detour on its own but then when I got to Hellifield the road was solid ice and the traffic had to crawl along. The gritters were out eventually so it should be okay tomorrow.
