All the best Han, hope your 100% soon.
Off in half hour when, might take that long to wake Miss Merrylegs, might just put her in the car asleep. 4 star hotel tonight, won't sleep in such luxury, not used to it
Safe journey everyone, and spare a thought for those who can't make it![]()
Up but not quite at 'em at the minute. It was our Christmas do at work yesterday (lunchtime, afternoon and evening) and all sorts of vague and bad memories are coming back to me. A strong mug of tea will hopefully sort me out. Later 'gator.
Last check on here to make sure there's no arrangement alterations, Boot Hall blown up by terrorists etcWonder if the antifreeze in my car has frozen? it's coyld aht thee'er. OK see everyone there.

What a fabulous day! The best weather and amazing frosty white views set against blue skies. Great to meet a lovely bunch of peeps too. Loved it!
Amex....thanks for the surprise....yum yum...cheers! What a star! But how come you missed out on that last very steep long incline??? Or was that part of the surprise?!
Well that's part one of the feat completed......just the drinking and the dancing to get through now!
Me too....best one yet....splendid chaos
If anyone has any photos they want to send me i'll post them on the Pony site.

Smashing day out, can't believe how nervous i was walking up to a group of folks who knew eachother but not me and introducing myself. Had to do the run in my retro Adidas traccy top due to leaving my Inov8 on the chair at home, d'oh! Funny watching Al Fowler getting chased by Lamas at the start, perhaps they took you for their b1tch Al...?
Respect to the suicide squad who showed balls of steel and did Sharp Edge, can't believe turbo still has the use of all his limbs after turning up questionably accoutre'd to say the least. Visibility was excellent and the views were cracking, the ground was carpeted in that wind blown frost that forms little rifts and ridges. No idea whatsoever how Nee Bother's trilby stayed on all day, it was very windy up top.
The descent down to Mungrisdale was fast and dodgy in places but really enjoyed it, hope Del Monte's knee is ok, managed to stay on my feet despite being in trail shoes. Think i met everyone but can't remember any names! when you spend your teenage years smoking pot short term memory is hard to come by when you're older, it'll probably take me at least 2 XOTFs to get things registering.
Big thanks to Amex and Emmi for the organisation, and Amex for the Mulled Wine at Mungrisdale, it wasn't without it's charm but i'll put it down as an acquired taste as it was my first sampling. You're probably all 'avin it to Culture Club in The Loft as i write this.....wish i was there
.
Best of luck with the job Merry.
Just in from the Loft. What a cracking day! Big thanks and many kisses to the superb Amex.
The run route was perfect, and mulled wine and mince pies went down a treat. Took me a while to thaw out - even after 3 mugs of Bovril - and still wasn't feeling right in the curry house. I was well and truly fragged.
We went with great anticipation to the Loft, after tales of Steve's dancing built him up to legendary proportions. I was not disappointed. No inhibitions, and once he pops, he can't stop! As for the rest of the posse, when they could stay on their feet() there were plenty of others busting some awesome moves: TT burning off the four dinners he had; Amex proving surprisingly agile; OHW, Emmi and MG showing the girls of Keswick how it should be done... Everyone had a cracking time, despite the ropey music and some pretty ropey locals!
Looking forward to next year's already. Thanks again big guy.![]()
