Found the ice last night (midnight) on me drive, skidded into my van and the car is stuck on a steep bit. Argh!!! Not too bothered about car damage but was really looking forward to getting up to Stoop today.
Theres always next year. Boo hoo.

bad luck, i have just returned from taking the dogs out, 1 hour and most of that was spent trying to stand up on ice!

Well that was fun. I think I was one of very few who took kit on the run so obviously they weren't concerned about broken limbs on the moor. Despite being quite near the back I came away with a prize; the joys of being female I suppose. Can't wait to see the video of it.

Nice one Dru.I took a cag in bumbag and still finished in top 30,so It couldn,'t have been that much of a hinderance.Thanks Dave,Eileen and helpers. Great event even though I had to Kiss Wendy under the mistletoe at registration!I can still hear the shrill tones of crying kids who just couldn't get warm.Character building eh?

Well that was an experience! 'Fraid I had lots of dud photos this time as I couldn't keep the lens clear from the driving snow/hail. Still, what I did get were 'atmospheric'!
