As London has descended into chaos just beacause of 1 inch of snow, I'm pleased to report I got a fantastic run out near home on Sunday in glorious weather through pristine powder snow. I wore my O-shoes and found I had Spider-man like grip even on sheet ice.
Great run - just need to keep it up through the xmas excesses![]()
Quite a bit more snow overnight here and its coming down heavily still. Hope I can get into Skipton to start my Christmas shopping later![]()

First real new snow here since last weekend - still only about 4 inches though!!![]()
I finished work at eleven last night, and it had been snowing heavlily for about an half-an hour at a guess before i finished.
I was the first to ride on alot of the roads and it was the most amazing experience ive ever had on my bike. The flakes where huge and it was almost a white out at times.
My back wheel slid out a couple of times but other than that it was great fun.
When i got home, i pulled up the drive to see my mum, dad, grandma and dog stood waiting for me.
I was like a human snow man.![]()

That sounds cool Al, it is always great if you are the first one through the snow
We had a fair bit yesterday afternoon for about an hour, but this morning the roads were clear (ish) and I have made it to Cardiff aiprot and... my flight to Edinburgh is actually going, with a 50 minute delay... Wooohoo!
Apparently, there is a lot more snow up in Scotland, so we could have some fun![]()
Looks like Aldis Special offers for this Sunday might be a couple of weeks late for some?

Mind the Oregon helmet/head camera looks tempting.....
Usually seen at a penny under a ton, thought of getting one when I was cycle commuting
