When Life Feels Like A Mountain

When life feels like a mountain
Standing high in front of me
    I pretend I am a bird
    Flying fast and free

    Winging up the mountainside
    The peak now sharp defined
    Draws me ever upwards
Fear and doubt are left behind

    Soaring above the summit
The world lies at my feet
    A carpet rich in possibility
    Unfolds beneath

So when life feels like a mountain
    Spread your wings and fly
    Concentrate your mind
    And aim for the sky

    On the wings of confidence
    You'll find everything you need
    The birds-eye view clearly shows
    The best way to succeed

Yes about 10 minutes ago. I don't pre plan any of my poetry. I sit down think of a title or line then just write none of them take more than about 30 minutes and thats if they are long like "life" most between 5 to 15 minutes. I find if i try to plan it seems fake and doesn't work for me. It has to be what i feel right now to come off as true to me can't do it any other way and be happy with it.

    Tri-mind's a prolific poet.
He churns them out all night.
If I tried to write as quick,
I'm sure they'd turn out sh***

Today's been a long day, full of fear and doubt,
I've let the demons have their way, they laugh tonight,
Tomorrow will be different, i'll run and leave them behind

Love Tri-Minds poems too and agree, can't plan em, just let em out.
