Just in case I can't find any paths, given good visibility, can you see Dalehead Tarn from Dalehead?
Mud, did you ever get a lift from Keswick?
No, but you can see Launchy Tarn and heading to the right of that will do.
The right? Really?
It doesn't matter hugely in clear weather, as once you clear the brow Dale Head tarn comes into view.
Just follow Geoff B and Daz![]()
I will hopefully be heading towards Launchy Tarn but that's because I'm going the wimp's way that alwaysinjured showed us. For you fast descenders you should carry straight on at Dale Head and when it starts to drop steeply you will see Dale Head Tarn (if it's clear!)
Thanks Mud.
Who to win the race outright? I don't know many English runners, there's just too many of you, but I recognise Scoffer, Nimrod Lockwood, Jon Broxap & Mark Palmer has been tearing up the hills in South Wales.
Any other potential winners?
