Just looking at the race win time of 22 mins by Jebb, it amazes me that the course record of 18mins by Stuart is SO much faster!

In terms of a short race, 4 mins is a lifetime!!

    What was this guy on!

Er, yeah, but there was 6 - 8 inches of snow this year, so it isn't the record which is amazing, it is the fact that Jebby was only 4 mins short of it!

yeah there was alot of snow by the looks of things, jebbys a real class act and 22 mins is an outsanding time. It just makes you wonder if jebby will get a record at grasmere some time.

    Re: Wansfell Results

Plenty more snow overnight in Kendal. Just deciding whether to head off to Wansfell or not. Is there anyone up Ambleside way who can comment on the road conditions?

I have just got email to say the Wansfell Race is cancelled due to extreme weather conditions.
Its snowing heavily here in South Lakes.
It may be re arranged sometime in Jan/Feb

Wansfell Race is postponed due to the snow... so dont bother trying to get to Ambleside. Hopefully the good ladies of Ambleside will try and organise it for a weekend in January. Stay at home and get t' kettle on!
