Ah well at least you got the miles in one way or another...unlike me this week!...and there is more snow out there...thinking of taking up cross country ski ing for the school run tomorrow!......nice haiku by the way

The river
One day a pet lamb felt weary,
sad nets for blue eyes
A friend said "now come on petal,
lets have no more cries
Your lonely now wor canny lass,
but right enough with time,
You’ll see again the high lights,
right here on the Tyne,

Indeed space and silence seems to have been on your mind mossy i liked this poem, in particular the idea that "nothing exists as a block and cannot be parcelled up"
