    Yeah nice one, aye get your entry in as soon as you can its soo popular, carnt wait till im old enough for it. Is it part of the buff skyrunning world champs again ?
    It should be pretty awesome, will be training hard for it. Not sure if it's in the skyrunning series, hopefully it is. See you there in a few years time then!

    Yes, it's part of the Skyrunner World Series but no longer sponsored by Buff. It all seems to be a bit more complicated - The Ben is a Trial rather than a Race.

    I intend to do this if I get my enrty in, really looking forward to this classic race. Walked it twice and ran it once. I think the descent is going to be awesome.

    Just noticed that the Skyrunner race in Russia is up Mount Elbrus, the highest mountain in Europe, 5600m high!!

    Bet that is a beast of a race, cant find any details though

    The programme on the left is for 2010, but the entry form is still the 2009 one. Looks a stonking race. I see that as well as the Skyrunner race, on 8th May there is a vertical kilometre race from Terskol at 2500m to Mir at 3500m, on 11th May there is a ski mountaineering race and on 12th May a snowshoe race. Fascinating.

    I see on the entry requirements that you have to be a member of a club . Does anyone know whether FRA membership is enough or will they be asking for running/athletic club membership ?
