Tried to do some of the Long Mynd Valleys route but got pi55ed off with freezing feet from all the slush . Hard work trying to run in the snow/slush . I wish it would just go now the novilty factor has worn off .
Went out pre dawn today for a dark and slippy 5. Seemed to be before the thaw.
No car or her indoors this w/e so hopping to get some decent miles in.

Quick up and down the Wrekin . Most of the snow gone round here now .
Out twice today, early doors 5 trail with around 1000ft climb, mostly slush now, some of it deep, and a lot of standing water as the ground underneath is still frozen, but I also found a some sliddy ice half way round and had my first fall of the winter. Luckily I carry more padding than i used to but i could feel it up my spine all morning.
Then just been out on the roads for a nice 7, no ice for the first time in weeks. Felt good and improved through the run.
Not shorts weather yet!!!
