Quantum Beings. {or my theory after some study of quantum physics of what our original role was in the shape of all things and what we shall return to.}
Be glorious shine resplendent forever more,
Leave behind all that stops you really seeing,
Infinite, infinitesimal forget all we knew before,
Universal our true state the Quantum being.
Ultimate freedom the whole of creation,
We begin where we end end where we begin,
Both everything and nothing time has no station,
We are all the universe for no or all time it is within.
No way to explain to you what we would feel,
Our part in all that has been and is and ever will be,
In a non existence that radiates for all time that's real,
We return back to our place of universal divinity.

Crikey Tri, I am a bit overwhelmed by that, thank you very much. It is really generous of you and I appreciate it but you most definitely should not underestimate your talent by any means. I cannot be objective about my own work. I have reached a point in my life where I earn a living from my printmaking and I recognise that what I do has a niche out there and I'm happy with much of it. Writing is another thing. It is very new to me and I have no idea if it is something I can sustain, I just write from instinct and it is nice to have somewhere to share it. In fact, without the thread, I'm not sure I'd have written at all. You, on the other hand, have been posting heartfelt works of consistant quality that have touched us all for a few months now.
So, here's to all of us on the thread. I think there is a wealth of talent out there and so many styles.
Pleasure and thank you for your compliment. It is a genuine appreciation of your work. Your right in that there are a lot of very good poetry writers on this thread. I particularly enjoyed it getting a little silly yesterday.

need to train harder
Hear hear!
I have been interested in the tone of the thread tonight, it is quiet and contemplative...I have noticed that this seems to bethe pattern after a sparky night last night it feels as if everyone is just chillin.....for now that is!....long live the thread!.......by the way tri your poem is really interesting
Yes, I noticed that too and I feel quite happy just reading posts and commenting now and again.
I'm also tired after a gruelling session at harriers. First one since I came back and I can see the big difference in my fitness plus the fell runners all had a great training month in the snow so are super fit. Still...I am prepared to work hard to get it all back and more.
