    Re: Today's poet

I have that Murakami book, it is an interesting read. Night night Freckle. sleep well.

I have returned satiated and am chomping on a juicy pair...oops I mean pear.

    I have eaten
    the plums
    that were in
    the icebox

    and which
    you were probably
    saving
    for breakfast

    Forgive me
    they were delicious
    so sweet
    and so cold

    Poets one and all.

    HHH on the wine,
    Everything feeling fine,
    His poetry published,
    All he could have wished,
Everyone happy to be in the 'zine,
Finally the poetry is going to be seen,
From now on poets we shall be,
On my passport for her majesty.

    Top stuff. I'm sozzled.

I know. Isn't is a shame you can't put your "profession" on your passport any more. I'd be "fellrunning poet" any day.

    Cheeky Hes.

    Naughty Hes is being rude,
    Being cheeky about her food,
She's got a sexy potato and a beautiful pear,
Rhyming saucily about food without a care,
I think veg and fruit make her lewd.

Ha ha, masterful, Tri. I think hunger does strange things to me. Am feeling much better now.

Goodnight all and enjoy your weekend
