    15% Chance.

I want to be like you dad,
Love him more than life itself,
How do i tell him that I'm half mad,
I hope he has love, happiness and wealth.

To stare at him asleep late at night,
    So peaceful,beautiful and serene,
He could easily be bipolar that gives me a fright,
Whether he his or not remains to be seen.

Scared to he'd blame me and never want to talk,
He is everything i wished for and so much more,
He might not want to share with me even go a walk,
I just know i love him to my very core.

Amazed to read that everyone who's put a poem on here is going to have something published. I;ve only written one poem in my life and it's on here, which makes me 1 for 1!

Seriously though, my one went on a bit and I know that magazine space can be precious so please, feel free to not bother printing my one to make way for more prolific poets!

Am enjoying lurking and reading this thread

Thanks Merry. See run went o.k. How long did it take ?. What sort of elevation does it have ?. Thinking of getting waterproof/resistant jacket and leggings as my current ones are quite bulky. Any recommendations ?. Price not an issue not because i'm rich but i would rather buy one good thing that lasts and have to save up to get it than end up buying three rubbish things.

Corr...sounds great! Not sure about the drip butties though. I would have come but I could well have been hanging about in Hebden near Burnsall if I hadn't been put right by TurboTom last night...kind of like the time I nearly went to Melmerby near Hawes instead of Melmerby near Ripon for a (coughs so you don't really hear it) road race. Luckily I found out there were no entries on the day and so didn't bother cycling there and later found out that I'd have cycled for an hour in the wrong direction when it was only down the road. Why am I telling you this? I do not know. I think I had too much vino. I did like the Yeats earlier and I really liked the one about the hare....ramble ramble ramble...hic
