You stick to the coast road or do the paths?
If its still the same as it used to be, opposite the pub at atwick theres a road goes over to the cliffs. On that you can take a left, off road, that runs about 100m parallel to the cliff. I think they were widening it for access to the gas pipes (?) You can work your way along the cliff tops themselves through low skirlington, Far Grange and on to Skipsea.
(we had a van at LS for about 15 years, when i was a kid)

    Is this our own thread

The road and track are still there and more caravan parks

Inlaws worked in Skirlington campsite for a number of years MIL ran Pool and FIL managed retaurant. I stick to roads as there is less dog dirt about. No traffic at this time of year, it'll be 3-4 months before the "comforts" turn up

??? miles from home to Derwent Fairholmes and back by bus. Hard work at times with rucsac filled with all the requirements for a piggin afternoon out. Knee deep sugary snow, a crotch deep bogmonster, and a man with a GPS who stopped to ask me directions were among the many entertainments out there today.

Just been round my local training route.

Could feel the 20 miles in my legs from saturday, but persevered to put in a respectable time.

EDIT - 7 miles my local training route. Just check on Mapmyrun

    Re: Today's Training

    B'day treat on a dreary Monday - 3 1/2 hrs playing out.

Meandering route based on Crowden loop with variations and a bit o' Lads Leap at the end. Unsurprisingly no other bug*er out and the fresh dusting of snow made the icy PW (what you can see of it) much better underfoot. Temp at start/finish was 0 degrees, just me and the grouse up there.
