There's an Edale Skyline face book page at http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#/p...856&ref=search
If the link doesn't work just log on to facebook and search for Edale Skyline.
Seems I was a bit slow posting this, not a big fan of facebook myself either.
There is an Emma Gregory on the entry list, is that you?

I have been recceing the first half of the Edale Skyline today and i will be doing the second half tomorrow. Now i know some of you guys find this sort of questioning bad form but here goes. Since this is my first go at this race would any of you more experienced guys be prepared to give us some advice on the best lines and other tips. Just want to give myself best chance of getting round as not the speediest. Cheers Matt.
How did you get on today tri-mind ? I attempted to recce the 2nd half today but found the knee high snow tough going for a training run. Couldn't find any obvious routes across the untouched snow so did a bit of hill work and pootled home instead. Maybe next week..............
Agreed was a bit wintry just as a reference first half was do-able yesterday. Yes just decided to have a nice morning out.As i mentioned above with it being my first attempt at this race i'm hoping someone will give me some tips for lines etc. Because you assume your choosing the right line but not having done it before you do not have any previous reference to go on. Experience is the best thing for learning this and i am recceing but anything to help would be great anyone.
There will be a big recce happening soon mate, date to be arranged i think, but keep your eyes open on the edale skyline recce thread, last year about 20 of us showed up and got to know a few secrets.
