Easy 5 miles tonight - might be tempted by Dick Hudsons race tomorrow but only as a training run.

10 miles with a few mates. Ran at 7min mile pace so everyone could keep up.
Upped the pace at miles 7, 8 and 9 so i was more or less flat out by the end.

First run in Cumbria since returning from London - enjoyed the rain! Really.

Fairly hard 5 mile trail route with my brand shiney new Garmin 305. i spent longer looking at the data when I got back than I did on the actual run!

Max heartrate test on the old turbo trainer.
Short sharp session really, but leaves you feeling a bit worse for wear.
Trouble is i dont beleive the result anyway (175). Think i was too tired to do it justice.
Does anyone know how best to find your running max heartrat? Probably on a decent hill eh?

2½ hours from Roddlesworth over Great Hill to Winter Hill and back via Belmont.
Seems to have been a fire on the slopes of Great Hill on the way up from Calf Hey Bridge.

Dick Hudsons Race (Ilkley Moor) - 7 miles approx (definitely more than the 5 advertised, but still a nice low key race -thanks to Wharfedale Harriers). Went a bit faster than the 'training pace' I'd promised myself.
