    Morning Glory

    Disturbed by the alarm
    Dishevelled I rise
    Disjointed my thoughts
    Disconnected I feel
    Disgruntled seek coffee
    Dismayed - no bread
    Disappointed its raining
    Disillusioned by news
    Disarmed by the caffeine
    Distanced from sleep
    Dissipating grumpiness
    Dissolving the aches
    Discipline regained
    Discovered motivation
    Displaying good intentions.
I really liked this Hes, very good especially the line "distanced from sleep".

    On the edge
    Now must rest

    One misjudged day
    An amateur mistake

Hope your on the mend soon dearest Harry brill poem tho!

Indeed Mossy! a lesson to us all...glad she was so fortunate and the poem is a lovely way to celebrate both her and her fortitude

Reckon it'll be freezing. We were out in Bronte country last night and the ground was like iron!

I hope that makes the going fast then. There'll be a patch or two of snow up there as well.

Hope you all have a good time out there DT, Merry et al...

    The peace of wild things
    Wendell Berry

When despair for the world grows in me
and I wake in the night at the least sound
in fear of what my life and my children's lives may be,
I go and lie down where the wood drake
rests in his beauty on the water, and the great heron feeds.
I come into the peace of wild things
who do not tax their lives with forethought
of grief. I come into the presence of still water.
And I feel above me the day-blind stars
waiting with their light. For a time
I rest in the grace of the world, and am free.
