    Re: Today's poet

    Killer in me.

    The screams in my head,
    Drown out everything,
    I look down blood,
    On my hands,
    A knife dripping,
    Someones lifeblood,
    Onto the floor,
I look i see the body,
    A girl no more than,
    Twenty five,
    Why ? How ? Who ?,
    Drop the knife,
    It's my nurse,
    Calm down,
    I'm in hospital,
    Drop the knife,
    The psychiatric ward,
    Oh God what have,
    I done,
    I slide the knife,
    Across my neck,
    I hear other voices,
    It goes black,
    Peace.

    Re: Today's poet

    Untitled

    We stood facing one another,
    six surrounding one.
    Eyes averting, aware of
    the shared emotions.
    Emotions which were bubbling
    at the surface
like water on a rolling boil.
    Depth Of breath,
    Gave us away.
    As in unison we lifted,
    Spun on heel and toe.
    Then bgan our glide as
    We were led inside;
    six khaki swans

    My throat stung with guilt
    And the sharp edge of
The box gnawed at the bone
    Beneath my tunic.
So heavy a box to carry,
So heavy a guilt to bare.

In the flash that surrounds the sun,
    when the moon passes between.
He had seen clarity on a dark day
in his greyest hours. From a car,
    Witnessing the motions of celestial
bodies, facing out a gaze lost to the ocean.
    Slowly the world melted into
    Unconsciousness and nausea, breathing
Poisoned air. A mans' life aligned to
a satellite and star his final breaths
    were of carbon monoxide
in the front of his car.

And now I have seen life
    reduced to nothing more
Than a belt buckle and a shiny
    peaked hat. A memory
that is fading from minds, but I tell you
David you never will from mine

    World

On the other side of the world
you pass the moon to me,
    like a loving cup
    or a quaich,
    I roll you the sun.

    I go to bed,
    as you're getting up
on the the side of the world
    You are scattering the stars
    towards me here, like seeds

    in the earth.
    All through the night,
    I have sent you
    bunches, bouquets, of cloud
    to the other side of the world;

so my love will be shade
    where you are,
    and yours,
as I turn in my sleep,
    the bud of a star

    Succubus.

    Silently we invade the night,
    The things of nightmares,
    Twisting your mind,
    Making you see beauty,
    Suffocate dear man,
    Give in to me,
    So that i may live,
That's right all that you are,
    Until your spent,
    You foolish man,
    It's over,
    He dies,
    I am renewed,
    Where is the next,
    Victim.

    Begone fear of hills....part one

Freckle attempts to combat her fears
with a jaunt to north shields fish quay
past the Wooden Doll and five reps of Tanners Bank,
a skoot past the crab man and a smell of tugs in the air,
tired legs are ready for a soak!

PS Harry I need all the tips I can from you on how to become a lean, mean hill eating machine!.................................pleeeeeee eeeease!
