    A lovely poem, but I couldn't concentrate watching the video. The poor lass didn't look well.

    Parting
    Emily Dickinson

    My life closed twice before its close;
    It yet remains to see
    If Immortality unveil
    A third event to me,
    So huge, so hopeless to conceive,
    As these that twice befell.
    Parting is all we know of heaven,
    And all we need of hell.

    I'll have a think about a race later in the year. There are lots of shows in the Dales around then (Muker / Reeth) which will be kind of central. Otherwise there are Langdale or 3 Shires in the Lakes if you fancy something longer. Could always make it Alwinton show!
    Thanks Merry and Harry for your kind words...now a really importangt question...would it be a faux pas to wear make up?.............ha ha only joking, I can feel the tomatoes getting strewn at my heed!

    Take your fell shoes DT. Table Mountain is good for a hillrep or two.

    Have a good trip DT. At least there isn't any jet lag flying due south.

    That's made my night. Getting to the punchline faster than you for once is an achievement I'm proud of.
