I had a look around for you. Did you go?
If so, I look forward to seeing the results to find out if I was in front or behind you.

Good luck with the skyline next week.

    Hi Tim,

Likewise! I did "enjoy" the run/race. My biggest dread, for some reason, was being last. That was why I dared not reveal my colours... I dont think I was last?
Looking forward to the next event

That was great fun this morning! Don't know about everyone else, but the hill right at the end nearly finished me off! Just seeing the field below, and having to double back... a James Bond villain couldn't have designed it better!
Anyway, not too bad for a first race after stress fracture. Looking forward to the next

Just missed out on getting the same place as my number (by 1 measly place!). How infuriating.

I stayed until the prizes were handed out. I was trying to look conspicuous and keep my Fat Boy vest visible. But after about 5 minutes, I was freezing so put my windproof on. You'll have to join a club then I can spot you.

I thought it was a great fell race. Thanks to all involved. I agree with what some people were saying after last year's event - It would be a good English champs counter.

Mrs Noel was very pleased with 3rd lady and 1st LV40.

My race report is on the blog...

I'm sorry not to see your post before the race - but just for the future, a six mile race won't usually have specific time limits or cut offs. Long races (say 13 miles and more) often do.

Another good race this one, I'm glad to have made it this year. That final hill was punishing but worth it for the last descent!

I should have hung around a bit longer. Nevermind. Needed to get home to do Mothers days stuff.

Just looked at your blog. 48 mins. Good running. I'm not sure of my time, but its safe to say I was behind you.

A great race (The final hill was SO much fun to run down). If you plan any long runs around the Wincle area and wouldn't mind someone tagging along please drop me a line.

Thanks. I was very pleased with it. It was my sort of fell race - a lot like my training runs.

Sounds good. I've vowed to do some more longer slow training (but not too long) this year, so I'll be in touch.
