    This is so cool Hes thanks for posting......off to get the sonnet now....i was going to do blakey blitz but something else turned up! hope you had a fab time

    here we are...

    O Mistress mine, where are you roaming?
    O, stay and hear; your true love's coming,
    That can sing both high and low:
    Trip no further, pretty sweeting;
    Journeys end in lovers meeting,
    Every wise man's son doth know.

    What is love? 'Tis not hereafter;
    Present mirth hath present laughter;
    What's to come is still unsure:
    In delay there lies not plenty;
    Then, come kiss me, sweet and twenty,
    Youth's a stuff will not endure.

    Live for today eh?

    I've got a couple of poetry books, including one from Carol Ann Duffy, and I was intending on bringing them along to the AW to give to anyone who wanted them. Only 4 weeks to go!

    Rufus is an absolute star. I love his stuff. His Dad, Loudon Wainwright III was good too. He even managed an appearance on M*A*S*H.

    The price of knowledge.

    I drift through this twisted circus,
    That they call life,
    Only really able speak of things,
    When the sands of time,
    Are running away from me,
    To there end,
    Oh how i wish to bear the curse,
    Of the vampire,
    The feast of crimson lifeblood,
    Worth the pain and guilt,
    So i could learn so much,
    Feel natures life flow,
    See man for what he truly is,
    And know who the real monster is.

    Was "Live for today eh?" part of the original Shakespeare?

    That is beautiful, but I didn't realise it was Shakespeare until long after I first heard it.

    "Come kiss me sweet and twenty" is just the best line ever.
