That is the best middle line I think we've ever had.

To ply you with sonnets and soliloquies,

By the way, I've had some interest from two more local papers about the Armitage gig, along with the guy who does the Guardian Country Diary. He was just as fascinated by the FPS mind you.

thanks DT thats made things clearer! lovely haiku as ever!

Here's a nice poem by Mary Oliver called Sleeping in the Forest, I really like her stuff....

I thought the earth remembered me,
she took me back so tenderly,
    arranging her dark skirts,
her pocketsfull of lichens and seeds.

    I slept as never before,
a stone on the river bed,
nothing between me and the white fire of the stars
but my thoughts, and they floated light as moths
among the branches of the perfect trees.

All night I heard the small kingdoms
    breathing around me, the insects,
and the birds who do their work in the darkness.
All night I rose and fell, as if in water,
    grappling with a luminous doom.

    By morning
I had vanished at least a dozen times
    into something better.

    Fantastic imagery.

Do you have a mad panic like I do when your formatting goes all to pot when you press submit? Trying to edit it quick before someone else quotes it? You made it! Just. And relax.
