Tough love - iron fist
in a velvet glove - ensures
gout prophelaxis

Most excellent haiku - I guess I deserved that one I had to google for the meaning -this thread is great for my vocabulary!

Freckle casts her spell,
Master of the poets,
She's put something in the water,
To make us feel lush,
It would seem to be,
Love potion number 7,
To make happy fellrunners,
Skip around the waltz,
I know your plan,
More love,less pain,
Oh what is thy bidding,
Mistress of Poets.

My favourite number but since the poem is intended for your pleasure it can mean whatever you would like it too. I wouldn't go for 7 fells in the one race as that might just be too much. Oh and OW what have condoms got to do with anything. Ho Ho.
