    Not sure many ran it in spikes last year!!
    Looked at the map and it looks like i just do 1 loop and then straight back down.

    Was up there on Tues evening and it is still wet but nothing like last year but its raining now so the bog monster is being fed so hopefully it will be interesting under foot on Mon

    Yeah was up Ilkley moor tonight and it was fairly messy, wont slow the fast lads down though. Expecting a classy field as its the trail.

    When i worked at Lambson's Chemicals in Castleford we used to have a machine called the swamp monster which sat in the middle of a bog it had created, now and again someone had to brave the green ooze to fix it. It used to just sit there and gurgle, periodically spueing out steam and condensate to refill the bog and keep the flies happy.

    Weather forecast for Monday morning looks cloudy, drizzle, cold (5C?), windy, and generally a bit miserable - ideal conditions then.
    As CCR says; unlikely to dry out underfoot.

    More rain for seniors in the afternoon - shame.
