Legs still trashed for Coledale on saturday but i loved it. I climbed the local hill no worries - which used to finish me off a couple of years ago.

I really really really love my bike!

16 miles hilly bike ride on fixed, can't quite get the hang of this yet for general riding but loved the recent club tt i did on it. Changed to a 20 sprocket today (50t front ring) given the local hills, think I will have to go back to the 18 for general riding and get a 14 for tt to start with as well as some tri's. Managed hills on 20 fine, but couldn't get anywhere on the flat.

Done v little cycling recently need to get some biking in this year if I want to hold Hann off at the 3px. Excellent result for her 25.

No ride today. May drag the Kettler in front of the TV for the Waloon Arrow tomorrow (Eurosport).

My cheap and cheerful trail bike, a rickety Puch Fireblade, is 10 years old this year! How the hell has it survived so long?
Now overwintered and waiting patiently on its back in a Salzkammergut cellar. Only I can't get there dammit!

    Re: Todays Bike Ride

Question is: do I go on the chaingang tonight and try hang in for a little longer than last week, or do I go and do a club 10m TT, a little further afield?

At work atm in cycling gear, with the roadbike, ready to leave early to ride to the start of our chaingang...

TT would involve riding back home, get TT bike in the car and drive 45 minutes to start of TT...

I am on a TT roll atm, so quite fancy testing on a sporting course, rather than a flat... it will only be training... hmmmmm...

Mind, first RR on 9 May and first crit EVER on 16 May, so chaingang may be better training... hmmmmmm...

Given that I have just done an hour on the turbo on the patio in the sun it is only right that you do the thing that will hurt the most as this will be better for you
