Hope you enjoyed the race Manhar! Great to catch up with all you forumites (as ever) and met Ady and Antisocial for the first time. Hung around to soak up the atmosphere and for Datt to get back.
.....doesn't matter Jodg - after you waltzed past me in the latter stages of Edale Sky - my diary entry for PPP still reads "...stuffed Jodg today...."

Wasn't looking forward to the drive home withthe thought of IanDarkPeaker re-living every moment of his sub 4 achievement but thankfully the road rage fuelled erratic driving of Kingsnail kept his mind on other things.

What a day - I didn't think the extra numbers had a detrimental impact in terms of there being any traffic" at anytime on the course. Can't see any real environmental impact either as the only bit of open fell is the climb of W'side.

Saw Ali Brownlee on his bike at various points on the course - now a tussle between him and Jebby would be a sight to see.

I was on a solid 3:59:59 pace to the top of W'side and then sore feet and the odd twinge turned me into the world's poorest descender. Stormed up Inglebugger only for the same dogs*it descending to follow. Change of footwear needed for next year me thinks.

PPP or London a tough choice.........
