That is duely mentally noted, in order to allow more time for finding a parking place.

    Thanks Andy!

See you on Monday evening, all being well

During this time parts of the field will be out of bounds, and access onto the field with cars may not be possible at all.
The start date may slip by a week or so depending on supplier lead times, this will be confirmed in the next couple of weeks.
I am aware that there is a race on the 14th and will therefore email you as soon as the start date is definate.
I expect the car park to be useable but cannot gaurantee this.
I apologise for any inconverience this may cause."
To aleviate potential problems could you please try to limit the number of vehicles used.
    Thanks for your cooperation. Andy
I'll pass this on to the DP site Andy.

    Hot !
I don't know what the attendance was but it felt quieter than usual, Met and had a brief chat with RichardT Easy to spot in his bike top, whilst I ran in my Luv Shack top

New stile on the route which will slow the times down a bit, A group in front of me went the wrong way down the hill to the second crossing.

I had the odd cheeky comment from the whinger about who was going to carry my bag, I would have offered it to him if he could have kept up

very happy with my time but it felt tough after the weekend

You missed a very dry run John, very low water-levels, but as Ian states, it seemed a bit under-subscribed (but that's what I thought at the last one)

Hi Ian, t'was nice to put another face to a name.
I guess the Club top is fairly distinctive.

I know we were advised of the low water-levels in the pre-race talk, but not of the new stile - or the mobile obstacles (the Cows)

Well done chaps. There must be laws against erecting new stiles on race routes?!!!

Richard, that looks like a pretty good time to me on such a warm night. I'll hopefully be back for Race 5, bit gutted to have missed it now. I managed a swift run in my lunch hour instead and nearly melted in the heat!

Some good times there Ian, & more runners than you presumed, but I'll agree it did seem a fairly low turn-out.

I was slightly miffed with my own time (31:23), as I really wanted a new 'PB' (if only by a couple of seconds), but I've only myself to blame for that - having to stop to re-tie a shoelace before the first stream-crossing didn't help matters either

Oh well, roll on 'Round 5'

    Re: Trunce

BIG apologies to junior runners. We had a major cliche with the junior stop watch on Monday night. The memory was full and therefore did not allow us to recall any of the times. Could any junior who recorded their own time please forward it to us via the Contact Us link on the Trunce site. We have the positions recorded but not the times. The level of response will determine what we can do to record the results. www.undeadmonkey.org.uk/trunce/.

Didn't mention the stile in the pre race banter because I didn't know about it. Will be going round the course prior to next race to start to cut bracken and nettles before they get totally out of hand so will look at the situation but not sure what I can do.
