I thought Kenny's record was going to go today when I saw Steve Cale blast past me today much earlier than Ricky Lightfoot did last year. Then I realised when we got to the gate that, due to the weather, it was a shortened race.
I understand why the marshals decided to shorten the race, but, I would have liked to do the last bit to compare my time to the last couple of years.
Good to see the Shropshire elite today and many other faces I recognised from the forum, even if it was only for a fleeting second as they went past. I had to dash after the race so couldn't stop to chat.
How many people missed the flagged section ? (The Great Wanderer seems to be making a habbit of going the wrong way ;-) hehe)
hi - just come back - enjoyed this race - wish i knew the course as there was one section where everyone decided to walk - think it was runnable but for some reason i "followed" everyone else and walked...will know for next year Finished in 1.15 so was happy.

You mean Race Fuel :-)
Vital carb reloading. See ya, I'm getting thirsty ;-)
Some very poor pics, too wet!!! (plus the fact im useless with a camera)
I did take over 170 but only about 50 are recognisable, I thought I was doing well, taking a pic of everyone who passed me.
Hopefully the guy up the hill had better luck.
Well done all.
