Tends to be the more obvious the link, the less I can see it (e.g. My Chemical Romance -> Modern Lovers)

V/Vm test press records have put out some great stuff in there time including the mighty Aphex twin. The absolute quality link I was taking about was that Thurston Moores dog is called Merzbow which would have been a great link to Sonic Youth. Though SS I'm impressed all the same. Thanks
Saw the Sonic Youth connection, as well as a Wilco one, not to mention where we could have gone from 'There's a guy works down the chip shop...'. Once I saw an opportunity to get some ATR in though, it had to be done! Bit of digital hardcore over brekkie on a Monday morning? Get in!

A ridiculous link to atr would be one of the guys out of the big pink who did that horrendous dominos track plays guitars for Alec Empire!!! Now you wouldn't have thought that when hearing the awful chorus of "them girls fall like dominos"

you have let me down, I just assumed you had a complete libretto collection, I have visions of you cutting a swathe through a fell race charging up hill and down dale passing all and sundry whilst singing "I am the Lord High Executioner"
