Does anyone know if drinks/water will be available en-route this year.

I think there was talk of water at Laddow as well.

But we've had a fair bit of rain so there will be streams on route including the stream that comes off Black Chew Head

Looking out of the window right now the clag is down and there's a steady drizzle. Puts me in mind of Wasdale last Saturday... I guess as long as there's significant rain between now and Sunday there'll be water to be found en route.

There may be, but I'd leave it alone. It's available at the Holme Moss crossing and if you are lucky at Laddow and Black Hill.
