I don't know what you think, but i would say that the standard of refereeing in the conference is pretty poor. And on that basis its no suprise really.
He was typical of a lot of the referees in the Conference. A fussy bastard who booked 2 or 3 for back chatting but then bottled it when the big decision came along.

Parking is not a problem now, we decided to go with the coach option. I reckon setting off at 6.30 we will be there with time to spare. Anyone know of any decent pubs within walking distance of Wembley?

Looks like we could be heavily outnumbered. As of mid day today Exeter have sold 16,000 tickets.

    Re: Wembley parking?

Excitement is building on the Costa del Morecambe. Up to Thursday night 12,000 tickets had been sold up here and 26,000 by Exeter. So with a few late sales and neutrals there should be a decent crowd.

If anyone sees a convoy of 50 Fraser Eagle coaches chugging down the motorway i will be on coach no.7. With prices of £8 for a burger meal and £4.50 a pint at the stadium i think we will be taking our own butties and finding a pub near the ground for a few drinks before the match.

Anyway prices at Wembley is something Swiss Toni neednt worry about for at least another 12 months

    Well done Morecambe.
Apparently it was a good game too, In complete contrast to the deadly dull FA Cup final yesterday

What a day. Amazing scenes at 6.00 yesterday morning in Morecambe as the convoy of cars and coaches set off. Norton Caines services was taken over by thousands of Shrimps fans. Passed time on the rest of the journey giving the finger to Leicester Tossers fans on their way to Twickenham. Excellent seats right behind the goals.

Even i got a bit emotional thinking about my 83 year old dad watching the match on TV at home, he first took me to Christie Park when i was 6 in the days of the old Lancashire Combination. Turned out i neednt have bothered because he couldnt bear to watch the last few minutes.

To top it all off i had a £2 bet on Morecambe to win 2-1 at 10 to 1
