Well the problem is when she gets to 15 she'll think she's a 30 y old adult. Then when shes a 30 y old adult she' ll act like a 15 y old. Mine daughter has done that with her Grandad to the extreme - think she's a lot of work to do with HER dad!!
I'm only her stepdad really but shes still got me hook line and sinker. I miss her even if I don't see her for a day. I'm a very soppy old Clodhopper.
There's nothing 'only' about it. It sounds like you have a lovely relationship which should be nurtured and cherished - we are not all that lucky
