Saw Toy Story 3 at IMAX Manchester yesterday. Best of the bunch. There were tears. Was especially heartbreaking as we'd cleared out the attic the day before and binned a Buzz Lightyear and some toy soldiers.

Kids or no kids - you should go see this film.

I've got House of the Flying Daggers to watch on DVD this weekend. I saw some of it in a hotel whilst abroad a year or two ago and it's stunning to look at. Am looking forward to seeing all of it

Great cameos from William Hurt and Ed Harris as gangsters

Jack Stall(His son): No, in this family, we shoot them!

I watched the second David Cronenburg/Viggo Mortenson gangster film last night - Eastern Promises. A good film but maybe not as good as A History of Violence.

Most of the old characters are in it. It was a fab film! I cried at the end when Andy is grown up and going away to college so has to say goodbye to his old toy buddies.

I watched 'Crazy Heart' last night. The storyline was a bit predictable but you can see why Jeff Bridges was nominated for and won best actor in the oscars.
Though my favourite role of his is still The Dude in 'The Big Lebowski'
