Not done 'owt since this run. Knee feeling weird moving about normally during week. Eased off in last few days so may attempt a small, slow run this weekend. Ideally I'd love to be back in time for Pendle Cloughs. (And some ace CTJM recces!)

Mine is always worst mooching around work and things too Gary. I spent the weekend walking around Budapest in smart trainers which made it ache, then i accidentally went for a 10.8m run on monday afternoon. I thought i knew the route to be circa 6ish but should have checked beforehand, now it feels like i've been hit in the side of the knee with a hammer and i'm wondering whether to volunteer for marshalling at next week's Lothersdale (any use Brett?) and bike it for a few weeks to try and retain some fitness. A costly moment of carelessness which i'll not repeat. Luckily i've got physio this saturday so plenty of massage will be called for and it'll be paid for with pain i think!

Was idly thinking about a hill session on Sunday am, 'bout 8ish from Barley if you want. (Though will have to check with the missus first!) 7mi 2,400ft? Though I do warn you I've not been training regularly on th'ills in recent months and this was going to be a first time back out there, so I will be quite slow.

Would be good to get out there with you again though.

I'm back out on the fells for the first time in 7wks on saturday, going to do a little 4.5m 1100' route i've spied out near Yockenthwaite in Langsrothdale. Good running lads .
