I was going to rest my legs but I did 50 miles tonight on the Mercian with new carbon forks. Out to mattock via the tansley climb. Very very very windy tonight. Hard going but very enjoyable.

Managed to finally just about complete my bike tool kit . No more bills from the bike shop for me. Campagnolo tolls have got bloody expensive

Oh and if you have got white bar tape, vie been cleaning mine with lemon furniture polish. Spray a load on and wipe it. Make sure you wipe it grip style and not crossways or you will lift the tape. Next time your in grimpeur mode and clogging up that climb. That smell of lemon will give you that much needed lift. Just don't lick your bars

I have just remembered I need to go out on the bike for an hour or so, to get my legs turning for tomorrows tt... weather looks dodgy... fngers crossed I won't get too wet...

Also a wipe over with a wax shoe polish will give it a bit more grip
but you wont get the lemony freshness
