Sad news tonight, but I suppose not many gave him a chance of getting to 82.

A honest man, his integrity beyong reproach. Today's politicians are a disgrace compared to Cyril who would put everyone before himself.
A public servant and a great man.

Being a member of the Communication Workers' Union, I 've just received a ballot paper to vote for the next leader of the "Labour" Party .... 5 Oxbridge educated middle-class academics; they might be new labour, but they sure ain't True Labour! Each one of them would no doubt fleece their own grandma just to prove that their pet ( albeit impractical ) political theory should be given a 'go'.
