Hmmm, any news on the 3 PX??? Is Hann still in her Ajax lycra????
Me, solid 60 miles on Sunday, llantrisant forest, Trebannog(scary) and Rhigos the highlights so happy with a 16mph ave over those hills. Erm, chain report for Daz, looks like I need a new one, seems to have got a bit longer of late, cassette looking a bit scraggy as well, hoh hum....
Oh, and 22 miles tonight cos I was feeling righteous.

I think I'm coming to the conclusion that I can either run, or I can cycle. Nothing hurts when I run, or when I cycle. But when I try to cycle one day, and then run the next I'm crocked. So I think my cycling days need to be curtailed for now...

Yeah, well... alas I had to retire after only one peak, as my recent crash injuries weren't healed enough to be up to the rigours of a race like 3 Peaks... little bit more detail on the 3 Peaks thread... Disappointed, but a sensible decision to step off after the 2nd road section, as I would only have aggravated the problems and when you get tired and sore and wobbly it gets a bit dangerous to try and control a cross bike riding off things like Whernside... Kne and Elbow were giving me a lot of trouble after, even after only having raced 1/3 of it, so definitely the right decision! There is always next year...

    Rode back from Evesham today
82 piss wet through miles in that torrential rain, just over 4hrs 15mins so pleased with that. Proper Flanders weather. managed it in bibshorts and a cape. By the finish I was at that laughable questioning your sanity stage but a smile on my face all the way home. No other bikies out, I guess they wasnt mad enough.
Id better clean the bike tommorow as its covered in grime. No stops but getting through bloody Coventry was a nightmare. Nuneaton not much better. There was a few funny smells coming from Twycross Zoo as I went past.
