    That made me smile Ian. Can you imagine the indignity of posting on Today's Injury thread: Grouse peck marks?

    Must admit, I've never heard of anyone being savaged by a grouse before

    Three years ago there was a grouse near the fords on the pennine way up from laddow rocks. It used to follow you and be fairly sociable. It was there several weeks displaying this unusual behaviour. My running partner at the time thought that it was being fed by walkers.

    I must admit that was my first thought when it followed me, it is on a popular path. but when it attcked me....

    Perhaps it was defending it's turf, Is it mating season??

    More dolphins as we crossed the Bjornafjiorden today.
    Its a tough life, but someone has to do it!!
