Xmas on the Fells 2010
Friday and Saturday the 17th & 18th December

A few days early but here goes!
Last year we tried a few things out that had not been done before and they seemed to work, so they are in for all this year!
Wives girlfriends lovers partners all welcome

Attend one or two days walk on the first day run on the second

Day one meet 12 noon for a walk to England's highest mountain via a few other lumps, for those who cant walk meet the George 9 pm then beer! then Loft last year a few hardy souls made the loft 2 days in a row i for one aim to repeat this fine act!

Day two Run, the run this year is the beautiful St Johns in the Vale, approx 10 mile 2000ft on the return there is an additional hill if you need the climb meet as always 10 am moot hall or sewage works 10.30
half way round surprise will be on again with a twist
The meet will be at 7 pm on the Saturday night meal booked for 8 pm round town then loft!
With reduced admission the catch phrase this year is "i only shop online for beetroot"
i would be honoured if you would attend either one day or two or just the curry and beer

Yes Seatoller at noon, was the original meet place, depends how i am as to how far if any distance i go, but i will let you have a detailed map showing all grid points, relevant hills and other points of interest,

Pointing will be fine, after all, it is the highest hillock we are scaling innit? And we are all seasoned fell runners who have at least recce-ed if not assisted at or even done a BGR, so we should know that area like the back of our hands... I doubt Mr H will make it to the top mind, he can only do so much ascending with his dodgy cyclists calves

He will be beating me hands down, if Mr H so desires he may join me in the warm place with Al-foulup seat heaters on full front and back, i am planning a flask and tartan blanket.

Sorry I was busy filling and paperwork sorting and errrrr making tea! Wasn't aware we needed an update as no-one has popped in with any 'news' any additions or cancellations...
checked the Loft - seems there is no tribute act or anything on the friday but it still 'ladies night'!!
