Cumberland Ale tonight to go with the footy (or is it the other way round)
Brewed for Tesco by BrewDog Brewery the American Double IPA.... an absolute gob full of hoppy loveliness but, at 9.2% ABV, a bit on the pokey side.
A couple or three of a Bass clone while I brew up 5 gallons of Wood's Shropshire Lad.
That's shocking! I had to part with £3.15 for a Golden Pippen today and it was served chilled! I asked why and apparently "that's how our customers like it", oh really. WEll this one doesn't and it shouldn't be served as such you 'orrible oik...... It's only £2.20 in my local.
Actually Mr Onehill had a pint of something almost as strong by Brewdog once, he soldiered on through about half, then gave up![]()
