Brewed for Tesco by BrewDog Brewery the American Double IPA.... an absolute gob full of hoppy loveliness but, at 9.2% ABV, a bit on the pokey side.
A couple or three of a Bass clone while I brew up 5 gallons of Wood's Shropshire Lad.
That's shocking! I had to part with £3.15 for a Golden Pippen today and it was served chilled! I asked why and apparently "that's how our customers like it", oh really. Been to pub today for 'Sunday' dinner, had 2 pints of Harvest Pale and felt tiddley after the first
Actually Mr Onehill had a pint of something almost as strong by Brewdog once, he soldiered on through about half, then gave up
That's not bad for a Thursday! I hope there was lots of gravy to go with that Harvest Pale?!
