I want to get some rollers... any advice on what to get Daz, or does any odd set do?
If I manage to get my car sorted for tonight, I am going to try and get ti Rollapalluza in Cardiff tonight... roller racing, should be fun :w00t:![]()
Hann they are all a bit similair to be honest. Ive only ever ridden about 3 sets in my life and cant actually say I noticed a difference.
Expect to pay £150 for a good set. Doesnt take long to master them but dont try doing no hands to quickly or you will end up flying across your room.
Nikalas may know as he could have actually tested some before.
You was talking about bike rollers I take it and not hair rollers ???????????.
If so I will have to make enquiries
These are probably the smoothest you can get but are pricey

For less cash, I quite liked these ones and the parabolic shape does make life a bit easier

Idiot question.
Whats the difference between rollers and a turbo....other than obviously on one your on rollers...and on the other your back wheel is just spinning.
Or maybe I should have said....should I get rollers or a turbo if I want to ride my bike when its pouring down outside.
That £150 roller....noisy?
If you can ride a bike in a straight line, you can ride rollers. It doesn't take too long to learn and it's complete nonsense about flying across your garage if you come off....
Rollers are great for balance, bike handling and developing a silky smooth "souplesse" pedalling style but you can't generate the resistances you can on a turbo.
