Wasn't too bad up top Phil. Me and Fleeter headed upto pots n pans, across to alderman, down to the dam wall and through the quarries back to mine for a brew. Alderman descent was slippy but other than that it's alright

The journey of a 1000 miles starts with a single step although it is hard to believe that even with an excessive Christmas you could match my level of podge

10 miles with four 500 ft climbs of my local hill Werneth Low

Felt surprisingly ok after 4 days of excess.

I think FRA rules state that 2000 ft of climbing at this time of year means it is compulsory for a fell runner to retire to the pub until New Year

Christmas 8m off road with the club round the boundaries of Horsforth, around 1200ft of climb. Nice steady run with pie, peas and cake afterwards

Al'reet mate, good to see you and Fleeter are getting out there, nice one. Today a plantation, Wimberry (ascent/descent), Charnel Clough ascent, Foxstone, descent to bridge and back through Plantation home for a nice cold beer...Odd going underfoot up top today, slush, snow, pure ice, mud, frosted peat - interesting going - good fun descending from Foxstone - slip, slidin' away

Full Moon Addict's Winter Rigby account has inspired me to consider some training before the pub.
