This one opens for me, Any problems let me know, It is a point to point so you can choose your own route with one or two exceptions which are flagged or taped

Here's my version, which unlike Ian's I can actually see

(You won't believe the 'technical wizardry' involved in bringing this map to life)

Interesting wanderings up / down Grindslow Knoll, did you get lost :-)

I can't see any wanderings on Grindslow Knoll. I can see the zigzags on Ringing Roger that you are required to follow.

Its not viewable in Google's Chrome browser but it does work in IE 8. Might explain why some folks and not others are having troubles viewing it. Not sure my legs would have had enough left to tackle the direct route between Edale cross and Grindslow. This year I'll be aiming at getting round without the wheels falling off as spectacularly as they did last year - I've got the pictures to prove it.

Oop's that's my first stupid comment of the year, I can assure you it won't be the last.

I've just plotted the route shown on Ian's map on Tracklogs. It works out at only 16.8 miles, but there's 6,300ft ascent. This compares with 21.3 miles and 4,500ft on the more conventional route. Anyone for IDP's line?

Hmm, after last yr's disastrous tally of 1 race, I think I'll make a more concerted effort to get out there. This looks like a good one to be getting on with. When is it?

    But it's the shortest route
