Because DT, there's a worrying trend of fellrunners effectively turning LDWA events into races. Unfortunately, with the delicate balance between old and new in the LDWA, I can forsee a situation where certain events no longer welcome runners in the not too distant future. Anyway,why on earth would you recce an LDWA event? Part of the fun is turning up, getting your instructions and working it all out on the day.
