Hehe cheers, I've got to make the most of the weekends, only got the gym and normal scheduled PT during the week.

Nice area to train, can add on or take off as much as I need.

Text evidence suggests they were in the pub by 3pm, so methinks a full dozen it was not ...

    Nice one Martin

10 miles and 2500' today on your old stomping ground Pendle. Bitterly cold wind and some very fine snow showers on the top.

Sounds like a nice route! Did you take in any of the new Stan Bradshaw route? Weather sounds about spot on for Pendle!

I'm currently trying to remember those great routes for the Wadsworth trog you showed us, think I can just about remember, but anything can happen up on there with the clag down! Think I was lucky last year

10ml / 1200ft-ish this afternoon around Carlton and Lothersdale. Moody views over to Pendle as sun was setting

Just the second half of the Tour of Pendle though dropping down for the last climb I didn't go all the way to the checkpoint If you need another recce of Wadsworth (only really need to do the half trog route as that is the navigation bit) let us know.

Ah I think I know the route you took, there is a nice little trod that contours round to the Big end climb just as your supposed to drop down to the CP

Ah that would be great, if I manage to get back up home for a weekend before the race I'll let you know cheers! Might not happen though as I'm in Poland doing a 60 mile march next weekend, then in the Brecon Beacons towards the end of the month for a week.

Lovely recce with Ilkley Harriers covering the first 14.5 miles of The Rombalds Stride. Very impressed with my £22 Montane Featherlite !
