A great event, really enjoyed it! Thanks to everyone involved.
That was a really enjoyable stroll! First exercise since Nov 5th so there was no way I was going to run it. Turned up late as I couldn't find my keys this morning; so only started at 8:20. The good thing about starting so late is having nobody behind to pass you.Averaged 4mph to CP3 so soon caught up and started passing the other walkers. After CP3 I just fitted into a line of reasonably quick walkers until deciding to call it a day at CP4.
Another great Hebden - thanks chaps. Frozen ground made it a bit hard on the ankles, but there were some fast times - 3:04 I think Geoff said was the fastest. And no, it wasn't me, but I did get a PB. I managed a good headlong fall on the way off Stoodley Pike as well, which was my first for a long time.
Yes nearly as well organised as the hobble and the Yorkshireman.
First long run for me since last october, 3.58 pleased overall.
Thank you to the organisers
Probably started a bit too quickly. At one point thought I'd be sub 4 but died a bit in second half and ended up doing 4:14.
Great organisation as usual and stuffed myself with food, again as usual. Probably a bit too much because I declined the apple crumble at the end.
I know he's too modest to mention it ,but Steampig knocked 47 mins off his 2010 time.I know he hadn't trained much last year but still pretty impressive!!
